iPhone 18 Pro Price and Review Singapore

By Jon Ng, AI Chief at Novatise · Updated

Of the two new Pro iPhones, the 18 Pro is cheaper by just S$200. Apple Singapore charges S$1,899 for the 256GB model[1], against S$2,099 for the Pro Max. Same A20 Pro chip, same three 48MP cameras as the Pro Max[2], in a 6.3-inch body that's 38g lighter. Short answer: buy it if you want the new camera in a phone that fits a shirt pocket. On a 17 Pro? Keep it. It went on sale here on 18 September 2026[6].

How we put this together: We haven't tested this phone ourselves. This review brings together published reviews, official specs and Singapore pricing and repair data. Every price below was checked on 22 Oct 2026 and is linked to its source.

How much is the iPhone 18 Pro in Singapore?

Apple Singapore sells the iPhone 18 Pro for S$1,899 (256GB), S$2,199 (512GB), S$2,799 (1TB) and S$3,699 (2TB), including GST, as checked on 22 October 2026. Red White Mobile at North Bridge Centre lists the 256GB from S$1,798, and M1 offers it for S$0 upfront at S$63.95 a month over 36 months for new and port-in customers.

Look at the last two columns before picking a size. Five weeks after launch, a used 256GB or 512GB unit still fetches about 80% of Apple's price. The 1TB keeps 70%. The 2TB keeps 59%: S$1,529 gone in a month. Second-hand buyers won't pay Apple's storage premium.

So: get the 512GB if 256GB feels tight. It's S$300 more and holds its value just as well. Skip 1TB and 2TB unless you shoot a lot of ProRes video.

Cheaper than Apple: Red White Mobile and Harvey Norman

Red White Mobile (featured shop) at North Bridge Centre publishes its own selling prices for local sets with Apple Singapore's one-year warranty[12][13]:

Red White Mobile (featured shop), prices seen on its website on 22 Oct 2026. The shop asks buyers to call 6735 4811 or WhatsApp 8668 4811 to check stock before visiting.

The same shop pays S$1,770 for a sealed 256GB set[14], just S$28 below its Burgundy selling price. Margins that thin usually mean stock moves fast.

Harvey Norman sells the 256GB Black at Apple's S$1,899, with interest-free instalments from S$79.13 a month over 24 months through selected banks[11]. Courts and Challenger: unknown. We couldn't confirm either retailer's price online on 22 Oct 2026.

On a plan: what you pay in total

We multiplied each 256GB deal out. M1's figures come from M1's own price data[8] and Singtel's Priority L upfront from Singtel's site[9]; other rows are from HardwareZone's comparison, updated 16 October[7].

Totals are upfront plus monthly × term, before trade-ins, vouchers or card discounts. M1 says its Flexi figures already reflect new/port-in discounts. StarHub's own page shows the 256GB at S$189 upfront on the Platinum plan with 24-month pay later, after DeviceDollars and port-in discounts[10].

M1 Flexi is the standout. S$2,302.20 over three years covers the phone and a 600GB plan, only S$403.20 more than paying Apple outright. That works out to about S$11 a month for the line. Existing M1 customers pay S$76.95 a month, or S$2,770.20 in total[8].

Singtel's Priority L headline of "from S$580"[9] costs S$3,652 over two years. It only makes sense if you'll use the 12GB of worldwide roaming and the other Priority perks.

What reviewers found

Battery: up, but nowhere near the Max

Apple rates the 18 Pro at up to 23 hours of typical use and 34 hours of video playback[2]. HardwareZone cites EU filings showing its battery is only about 1.45% bigger than last year's, compared with 11.8% for the Pro Max[15]. Even so, it lasted 685 minutes in HWZ's video loop, against 620 for the iPhone 17 Pro. About an hour more, which suggests a more efficient chip. The Pro Max managed 811[15].

TechRadar's lab test gave the 18 Pro 16 hours 17 minutes. Its reviewer, Jacob Krol, averaged around 30 hours of real use across both phones[16]. The Urban List's Singapore reviewer, upgrading from an iPhone 15, said the battery life "made a noticeable difference to my day"[18].

Coming from a 17 Pro, don't expect a different phone by 6pm. From a 15 Pro or older, you'll notice.

Dim hawker lighting is where the brighter f/1.48 setting helps most. Illustration (AI-generated).

Camera: a moving aperture, used sparingly

The main 48MP camera now has a variable aperture with four stops, f/1.48 to f/4, plus manual Pro controls for aperture, shutter speed and white balance[2]. The Verge's Allison Johnson found it mostly sat at f/1.8, opening to f/1.48 in dim light. She called the image-quality gains "generally marginal"[17].

The wider aperture matters most at night. HardwareZone measured about 50% more light than the 17 Pro's f/1.78 lens and found night shots brighter and less noisy, with Night mode kicking in less often[15].

Two catches. A manual shutter speed captures a single frame rather than Apple's usual multi-frame stack, so you give up some dynamic range (Apple confirmed this to The Verge)[17]. And on the 6.3-inch screen the Pro control icons are small: Johnson said she "had to focus just to hit them properly"[17]. HWZ still calls the ultra-wide the weak link, soft at the corners[15].

Speed and heat

HardwareZone's Geekbench 6 multi-core score for the 18 Pro was 12,380, a whisker behind the Pro Max's 12,642[15]. TechRadar says it runs noticeably cooler than the 17 Pro but feels "largely neck and neck" with the A19 Pro day to day[16].

One Singapore-specific warning

HardwareZone found the Burgundy finish "incredibly prone to smudges" that need a damp cloth to remove. Glacier doesn't have the problem[15]. In our humidity, that alone might decide your colour.

The Pro Max's extra S$200 buys a bigger screen and 126 more minutes in HWZ's test, plus 38g and S$80 more per screen repair. Our iPhone 18 Pro Max price and review covers the bigger phone in detail. If you want a foldable, see the iPhone Duo review.

Should you buy it?

Yes, if you're on an iPhone 15 Pro, 14 Pro or older and don't want a 249g phone. TechRadar calls the jump from a 15 Pro "much more substantial"[16], and HardwareZone tells 16 Pro owners to upgrade "without hesitation"[15].

No, if you own a 17 Pro. The Verge sees "no hugely compelling reason" to choose the 18 Pro over a discounted 17 Pro unless you're a committed photographer[17]. HardwareZone and TechRadar agree[15][16].

Think about the iPhone 17 if you mostly point and shoot. At S$1,449 on Apple Singapore[1] it's S$450 less, though it has no telephoto, no variable aperture and no Pro controls.

Our pick: the 256GB in Glacier from a shop selling below RRP, or on M1 Flexi if you need a new line anyway.

iPhone 18 Pro repair costs in Singapore

*AppleCare+ covers a battery replacement only once capacity falls below 80%[4].

AppleCare+ for the 18 Pro costs S$339 for two years, paid in full[1]. Here's the maths for one cracked screen: S$339 plus the S$42 fee is S$381, against S$495 without cover, a saving of S$114. If your back glass cracks instead, you lose money: S$381 against S$225. The big one is "other damage", such as liquid damage: S$1,269 without cover, S$148 with it[3][4].

Our view: caseless, or broke a phone recently? Buy it. Otherwise spend a fraction of that S$339 on a good case.
