OPPO Find X9 Ultra Price and Review Singapore

By Jon Ng, AI Chief at Novatise · Updated

Is the OPPO Find X9 Ultra worth buying in Singapore?

Yes, if photos matter most and you can carry 236g[1]. HardwareZone calls it its leading pick for a flagship Android phone[5], GSMArena measured the longest battery life among its rivals[7], and the 512GB model is now S$1,949 at Challenger[10]. Video is its weaker side[7].

OPPO asked S$2,199 for the Find X9 Ultra when it went on sale in May[4], a little more than a comparable Galaxy S26 Ultra[5]. Six months on, the 512GB model sells for S$1,949 at Challenger and Courts[10][11], and OPPO's own store banner says "from $1949"[3]. That S$250 cut changes the maths on a phone bought mostly for its cameras. Here's what you get for the money, what reviewers made of it, and what repairs and resale look like.

How we put this together: We haven't tested this phone ourselves. This review draws on published reviews from HardwareZone, GSMArena, Android Central and Tom's Guide, OPPO Singapore's spec sheet, and prices from Singapore shops and telcos. All prices were checked on 4 Nov 2026.

What it costs on 4 Nov 2026

Two versions are sold here: 12GB RAM with 512GB storage, and 16GB with 1TB[1]. Most retailers are now selling both below the launch price.

For context, the launch deals were S$1,899 and S$2,199 during pre-orders (22 April to 6 May), then S$2,049 and S$2,399 until 31 May[4]. So today's S$1,949 sits between the two. The 1TB model is the better deal right now: S$350 more gets you double the storage and 4GB more RAM, against a S$400 gap at launch.

One more thing to know before buying. OPPO's Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max are already on sale here, at Singtel and at Red White Mobile among others[12][13]. We haven't reviewed either yet, so we can't say how they compare. It does mean the X9 Ultra is no longer OPPO's newest camera phone, and the discounts may continue.

Featured shop: Red White Mobile, North Bridge Centre didn't list the Find X9 Ultra on its new-phone price list on 4 Nov 2026. It lists the newer Find X10 Pro Max 16GB+512GB and Find X10 12GB+512GB without a price, asking buyers to WhatsApp for one[13]. Its trade-in list does include the X9 Ultra; see the resale section below. Red White Mobile is a paid featured shop on this site.

Four cameras, and what each one is for

Most flagships have three rear cameras. The X9 Ultra has four that take photos, plus a multispectral colour sensor that doesn't take pictures itself but feeds extra colour data to the others[5]. Here's the line-up from OPPO Singapore's spec page:

OPPO Find X9 Ultra rear cameras

Ultrawide50MP, 1/1.95-inch[2]14mm, f/2.0[2]Groups, interiors, wide views

The 10x lens is the one that sets it apart. HardwareZone points out that Samsung dropped its 10x camera after the Galaxy S23 Ultra, and that one was only 10MP[5]. The reviewer admits you won't use it daily unless you watch birds, but found it handy for holiday photos[5]. The 3x camera also does macro work, so a single lens covers portraits and close-ups of food or flowers.

The default photo style divides opinion. HardwareZone found colours warm and pleasant, but noticed heavy smoothing of edges and textures when it looked closely[5]. Its fix is Hasselblad Master Mode, which cuts back the processing; that became the reviewer's preferred way to shoot[5]. GSMArena praised the stills from every camera, day and night, and was surprised by how good the ultrawide is[7]. Android Central went further and rated it above the vivo X300 Ultra as a camera phone[8].

Video is the weak spot. It records 8K at 30fps and 4K at 120fps on every camera except the ultrawide[5], but GSMArena's verdict is blunt: if video quality tops your list, this may not be the phone for you[7]. HardwareZone, meanwhile, praises the S26 Ultra's Horizon Lock stabilisation[5], so people who film more than they photograph may be happier with the Samsung.

The S$499 teleconverter kit

OPPO sells a Hasselblad Earth Explorer Kit for S$499. It clips onto the phone, sits over the 3x camera and stretches its reach to 300mm, and it adds physical camera buttons[5]. HardwareZone only had it briefly but found the 13x and 30x shots very detailed, with the caveat that you need steady hands or a tripod at that zoom[5]. Unless you already know you want 300mm shots, buy the phone first and decide later.

Battery and charging, by the numbers

The battery is 7,050mAh, a silicon-carbon type[1]. That's not the biggest on the market. OPPO's own Find X9 Pro has 7,500mAh[6]. Even so, every test we found puts it near the top:

GSMArena[6]Wired charging, 100W SuperVOOC1% to 100% in 45 minutes
Tom's Guide[9]Wired charging from 0%44% in 15 minutes, 74% in 30

The two full-charge times differ by half an hour, which is a reminder that the charger, cable and room temperature all play a part. OPPO's spec sheet lists a charger and a cable in the box[1], though it adds that contents may vary by market.

Top speed needs OPPO's own SuperVOOC charger. A regular USB-C charger tops out far lower, at 55W with the PPS standard or 18W with plain USB PD[1]. GSMArena got practically the same full-charge time from a 55W USB PD charger, so a good third-party brick is fine for overnight charging[6]. Wireless charging runs at up to 50W with OPPO's AirVOOC chargers, which are sold separately[1][5].

ColorOS also offers bypass charging, which powers the phone from the charger rather than the battery, and lets you cap charging at a level such as 85%[6]. Both help the battery age more slowly.

Living with it

This is a big, heavy phone. It measures about 163 x 77mm and weighs 236g in Tundra Umber, which is 9.1mm thick, or 235g in Canyon Orange, which is 8.65mm[1]. HardwareZone called it heftier than its rivals and noted that the width, about 77mm, calls for a wider grip[5]. A protective case comes in the box[1].

It's built to take some punishment. The phone is rated IP66, IP68 and IP69, covering dust, immersion and high-pressure water jets[5]. The 6.82-inch QHD+ screen normally runs at up to 120Hz; OPPO says the 144Hz mode only kicks in for some games[1]. HardwareZone found it less oversaturated than Samsung's panels, though some bright content looked slightly washed out at full brightness[5].

Inside is a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with all eight cores at full speed[5], and the fingerprint reader is an ultrasonic one under the screen[1]. Two buttons are worth knowing about:

Not all of the AI features impressed. HardwareZone found AI Bill Manager good at reading even a handwritten receipt, pulling out items, dates and invoice numbers[5]. AI Menu Translation is capped at 30 uses a month[5]. GSMArena expects about five major software upgrades[7].

How it compares on price

HardwareZone weighed the X9 Ultra against the other big-camera flagships sold here, using launch prices[5]:

Launch RRPs in Singapore, from HardwareZone
Phone512GB1TB
OPPO Find X9 UltraS$2,199S$2,599
Samsung Galaxy S26 UltraS$2,128S$2,578
Xiaomi 17 UltraS$1,799Not sold officially

At launch the OPPO cost the most. At today's S$1,949 it's S$150 more than the Xiaomi, and that buys a fourth camera and, by HardwareZone's reckoning, a better camera system overall[5]. Read our Xiaomi 17 Ultra review and Galaxy S26 Ultra review for current prices on those two.

Repairs, warranty and resale

We couldn't get OPPO's official parts prices for this model. The lookup page on OPPO's support site wouldn't load the Find X9 Ultra for us[16], so an official screen or battery price is unknown. Of the independent shops we checked, only Citri Mobile lists the model, and almost every job is quoted on request[15]:

A curved, high-resolution screen on a phone this new is unlikely to be cheap, so the screen cover matters. OPPO's store is currently pairing the phone with a two-year screen protection plan[3], and the launch bundle offered the same[4]. Ask what the plan covers and how many claims it allows before you rely on it. Find shops near you on our OPPO repair page:

What it's worth later

Red White Mobile's trade-in list shows how well the X9 Ultra holds its value[14]:

Measured against today's S$1,949 and S$2,299 retail prices, a used 1TB set fetches about 64% of what a new one costs. Final offers depend on an inspection, the condition, remaining warranty and accessories, and sealed sets need the original receipt[14]. Prices change often, so confirm on the day.

Our take

Buy it if you want the most flexible camera kit on any phone sold here: a 10x lens, a 3x lens that also does macro, and the option of a 300mm add-on. You also get battery life that every reviewer rated near the top[5][6][7]. Get the 1TB model at S$2,299 if you shoot a lot of 200MP stills or 8K video, since those files add up fast.

Skip it if video is your priority, if you want a light phone, or if you'd rather wait to see what the Find X10 Pro Max offers. If you mostly use the main camera, the Xiaomi 17T Pro costs far less and still has a 5x zoom lens. Browse all our phone reviews for more.
