Xiaomi 17T Pro Price and Review Singapore
By Jon Ng, AI Chief at Novatise · Updated
The Xiaomi 17T Pro has a 7,000mAh battery[1]. That's bigger than the battery in almost any phone you can buy in Singapore at S$999, which is what Xiaomi asks for the 12GB+256GB model[2]. Add a 5x telephoto camera and a 100W charger in the box[4], and it looks like a lot of phone for the money. Five months after launch, here's what reviewers found, what it costs today and what it costs to fix.
How we put this together: We haven't tested this phone ourselves. This review pulls together published reviews, Xiaomi Singapore's specs and terms, and prices and repair rates from Singapore shops. Every price was checked on 3 Nov 2026.
Should you buy the Xiaomi 17T Pro?
For most people who want long battery life and a real zoom lens without paying S$1,500 or more, yes. HardwareZone says it's the only phone in its price range with a 5x optical zoom[4], and every review we read praised the battery. Skip it if you already own a 15T Pro, since Digital Camera World sees no reason to upgrade[8], or if you care about the ultrawide and selfie cameras, which several reviewers call weak[5][7].

What it costs, checked 3 Nov 2026
There are two Singapore versions. The 256GB model is sold only online, through Xiaomi's own store, Shopee and Lazada; the 512GB model is also in shops[4].
| Seller | 12GB+256GB | 12GB+512GB | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Xiaomi recommended price[2] | S$999 | S$1,149 | From Xiaomi's sale terms; mi.com/sg's buy page didn't show a live price or stock to us |
| Challenger[10] | Not sold | S$1,149 | All three colours listed, all showing sold out |
| Courts[11] | Not listed | Not listed | Search returned no results |
| Melashoppe[16] | S$948 sale price, against a regular price of S$1,149 | Says local set; the page doesn't name the storage size | |
| Xiaomi on Shopee / Lazada | Unknown | Unknown | We couldn't load the listings |
| Red White Mobile (featured)[12] | Not listed | Not listed | Lists the Xiaomi 17T instead |
| Singtel, StarHub, M1 | Unknown | Unknown | No 17T Pro plan found |
So the official price hasn't moved since launch. Launch buyers did a bit better: between 28 May and 30 June, Xiaomi's store threw in free gifts, a REDMI Pad 2 9.7 for the 17T Pro at first, and took up to S$100 more off with a trade-in[2]. That campaign has ended[2].
The Melashoppe listing at S$948 is the cheapest local set we saw, but check two things before you pay. Ask which storage size it is, since S$1,149 is the 512GB price. And ask whether the shop is an official Xiaomi dealer, because the free screen replacement and the 24-month warranty only apply to sets bought through Xiaomi's official channels and activated in Singapore[3].
Prices have crept up across the T series. HardwareZone lists the 512GB model at S$949 for the 14T Pro, S$899 for the 15T Pro and S$1,149 for the 17T Pro[4]. You do get a much bigger battery for the extra S$250, as the next section shows.
Featured shop: Red White Mobile, North Bridge Centre didn't list the 17T Pro on its new-phone price list on 3 Nov 2026. It did list the regular Xiaomi 17T 12GB+256GB at S$688, with Xiaomi Singapore's two-year warranty and six months of screen protection[12]. That's S$111 under Xiaomi's S$799 price for the same model[2]. Red White Mobile is a paid featured shop on this site.
Battery: the main reason to buy it
Xiaomi moved from 5,500mAh on the 15T Pro to 7,000mAh[9], using a silicon-carbon battery with 16% silicon[1]. The phone isn't much thicker for it, but it is a big phone, and Digital Trends found it slippery to hold[7].
The reviews agree on stamina, though the numbers vary with how hard each reviewer pushed it:
- HardwareZone got about a day and a half per charge[4].
- Android Central got about two days with medium use[6].
- Digital Trends measured seven to eight hours of screen-on time[7].
- Trusted Reviews still had 40–50% left at the end of a day[9].
Xiaomi claims the battery keeps at least 80% of its capacity after 1,600 charge cycles in its lab tests[1]. Charging once a day, that's more than four years. Battery wear is one of the most common reasons people replace or repair a phone, so this matters more than it sounds.
Charging speed
The phone takes 100W wired, 50W wireless, and can charge other devices at 22.5W through the cable[1]. Singapore boxes include the 100W charger and cable; the 50W wireless charger is sold separately[4]. Xiaomi claims a full charge in 48 minutes[1]. Reviewers' results:
| Reviewer | Result |
|---|---|
| HardwareZone[4] | 0–50% in 25 minutes, full in 74 minutes |
| Digital Trends[7] | 1–75% in 30 minutes |
| Android Central[6] | Full in under 45 minutes |
The spread is wide, and charger choice and room temperature both affect it. Either way, half an hour on the charger covers most of a day.

The zoom camera, and the two that lag behind
The 17T Pro has three rear cameras[1]:
| Camera | Sensor | Lens |
|---|---|---|
| Main | 50MP Light Fusion 950, 1/1.31-inch[1] | 23mm, f/1.67, OIS[1] |
| Telephoto (5x) | 50MP Samsung JN5[4] | 115mm, f/3.0, OIS, focuses from 30cm[1] |
| Ultrawide | 12MP OmniVision OV13B[4] | 15mm[1] |
The telephoto is the standout. A 115mm lens is long for a phone at this price; most rivals stop around 3x. HardwareZone found shots at 10x still usable in good light[4]. It isn't ideal for everything, though. Android Central points out that 115mm is too tight for most portraits, so you'll often use the main camera's crop instead[6]. The 30cm minimum focus means you can shoot a plate of food from across the table with the zoom lens without stepping back too far[1].
The ultrawide is where Xiaomi saved money. Notebookcheck calls it weak[5], and Digital Trends says both the ultrawide and the selfie camera fall behind the other two[7]. If wide group shots at night matter to you, keep that in mind.

Video goes up to 4K at 60fps, with HDR10+ and Log recording[1]. One small storage warning: HardwareZone noticed that Leica Live Moment photos, which capture a short clip with each shot, take about twice the space of a normal photo[4]. On the 256GB model, turn it off unless you use it.
Everything else, briefly
The screen is 6.83 inches, 2772×1280, up to 144Hz and 3,500 nits, with 1.29mm bezels[1], covered by Gorilla Glass 7i[4]. Inside is MediaTek's 3nm Dimensity 9500, which scored over 3.57 million on AnTuTu in Xiaomi's lab[1]. Notebookcheck saw it throttle under long heavy loads[5], which you'd notice in long gaming sessions more than daily use. It's rated IP68 for 1.5m of water for 30 minutes[1], and it has Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 and an IR blaster for your aircon or TV[1].
Xiaomi promises five Android version updates and six years of security patches[4]. That's a long time for a phone under S$1,000, and it pairs well with the battery's claimed lifespan.
The complaints are small but real:
- The USB-C port runs at USB 2.0 speed and can't output video[5].
- Speakers are average, and the phone comes with preinstalled apps and ads you'll want to switch off[5].
- The optical fingerprint reader underwhelmed Digital Trends[7].
17T Pro or the cheaper 17T?
Trusted Reviews thinks the regular 17T steals some of the Pro's limelight[9]. Here's the price gap in Singapore:
| Model | 12GB+256GB | 12GB+512GB |
|---|---|---|
| Xiaomi 17T[2] | S$799 | S$949 |
| Xiaomi 17T Pro[2] | S$999 | S$1,149 |
The S$200 difference grows to S$311 if you buy the 17T 256GB at Red White Mobile's S$688[12]. Pay for the Pro if you want the 5x zoom, the faster chip and the bigger battery; otherwise the 17T is the better deal. Among other brands, HardwareZone names the Honor 600 Pro, the OPPO Reno15 Pro Max at S$1,049 for 512GB and the vivo X300 FE at S$1,099 as rivals[4]. Warranty and repair costs
Sets bought through Xiaomi's official channels and activated in Singapore between 28 May 2026 and 27 May 2027 get two extras under Xiaomi's premium services terms[3]:
- 24 months of quality assurance from the purchase date, double the usual year.
- One free screen replacement within six months of purchase.
Xiaomi's product page lists the same benefits[1]. Back up your phone before you hand it in, as the terms advise[3].
| Repair | Xiaomi service centre | Citri Mobile |
|---|---|---|
| Screen | Free once in first 6 months (official sets)[3]; otherwise unknown | Quoted after diagnosis[15] |
| Battery | Unknown | Quoted after diagnosis[15] |
| Charging port | Unknown | S$45[15] |
| Water damage repair | Unknown | S$45[15] |
| Power button | Unknown | S$40[15] |
| Labour / inspection fee | S$45 each[14] | n/a |
Xiaomi says out-of-warranty prices are indicative and the service centre's quote after inspection is final. If you turn down the quote, you still pay the S$45 inspection fee[14]. We couldn't find Xiaomi's official parts prices for the 17T Pro, so those are unknown.
No shop we checked publishes a 17T Pro screen or battery price yet. Given the battery's claimed lifespan, a battery job is unlikely in the first few years, but a cracked screen after the six-month window will need a quote. Compare a couple before you agree. Browse our Xiaomi repair shops:

What your old Xiaomi is worth
Red White Mobile's trade-in list doesn't include the 17T Pro or the 15T Pro yet[13]. It does buy older T models: S$320 for a 14T Pro 12GB+1TB and S$220 for a 14T 12GB+512GB[13]. If you're coming from a 14T Pro, that brings a 512GB 17T Pro down to about S$829. Xiaomi's store runs trade-ins through CompAsia too[2], so it's worth getting both quotes.
The verdict
Buy it if
You want a phone that lasts well past a day, a proper zoom lens for under S$1,200 and long software support. Buy from Xiaomi or an official dealer so you get the 24-month cover and the free screen replacement.
Skip it if
You own a 15T Pro, you shoot a lot of ultrawide or selfie photos, or you want a compact phone. If the zoom doesn't matter to you, the 17T costs S$200 less.
